My favorite high school memory was:
Hanging out with about 150 other kids in the band hallway in front of the lockers every day before class. Also, getting together with Dawn, Erica and Heather every weekend and driving around in Heather's convertible or Erica's car that was a former police car. We scared the crap out of people in that car.

Graduated from NIU with a degree in Music Education, then got my first job in small town USA teaching in a high school with only 100 kids in the entire school.  Big time culture shock!  Met my future husband, Ron, and we got married in 1995.  Got my masters degree in music (MMEd) in 2002 from Vandercook  College in Chicago.  I taught at Rock Falls HS, in Illinois, from 1994-2005 until I had my first baby, Ryan, and then Jason followed in 2006.  I now stay at home with the boys and am doing quite a bit of piano & flute playing for weddings & such.  I also get back to the Chicago area quite a bit (can't live without Woodfield!)

In 2002, I wrote the official fight song for the Illinois Institute of Technology (IIT) in Chicago.  My 15 minutes of fame are now up!

Meeting Melissa Budzisz in Mr. White's biology class. We have been best friends ever since!

After high school I went to several colleges but eventually ended up at University of Houston and got my degree in Hotel/Restaurant Management.  I met my first husband there and, shortly after graduation, we moved back to his hometown of Jackson, Ohio.
Six years later I got divorced and my mother suddenly passed away, so I ended up moving out to Colorado Springs, CO. to be closer to my brother.  I ended up landing a great job at the five star-five diamond Broadmoor Hotel which I absolutely loved.  I worked there for 5 years and it was where I got introduced to my wonderful husband, Chad.  
Shortly after getting married, we ended up moving to Washington DC because of a job opportunity for Chad (he is a brilliant chef) and we have remained on the east coast.  We now have a gorgeous 3 year old son, Ryan, and live in Baltimore, Maryland.

FIRST OFF, THANKS FOR PUTTING THIS SITE AND THE REUNION TOGETHER.

1. Haven't changed that much since high school:
-Still listen to Kameron Dorsey complain about Nebraska football
-Still eat Little Caesars pizza and eat Cheeseburgers
-Still listen to Cliffy talk about the Packers
-I still talk way too much about the Kansas Jayhawk sport teams and the Chicago Blackhawks
-I still listen to way too much metal
2.  Went to KU (undergrad) with Beth Helpap, Leslie Berman and Randy Ulrey (good times);  Ened up getting an MBA at U of Missouri and then a Master of Science in Informatics at Northwestern.
3. Travel way too much for work (Software Healthcare Sales)-have seen many people in airports/planes:  George Poorman in Milwaukkee,  Jason Joseph in Boston, Neal Armstrong in Wolfgang Pucks.... 
4. Currently spend the summers in Lake Geneva with family and the rest of the time in Chicago (or on road)
5. Have 11 nieces and nephews
