Oh..I have alot of good memories from high school. I think one of my favorite was cheerleading. Camps were so much fun!!!
From Amy:
I moved to Georgia (home) shortly after graduation.  I met the love of my life 2 yrs later and we were married in 1992.  We have 3 beautiful boys (Joseph 10yr, Jacob 8yr, and Ben 6yr) who are very active with baseball and football.  They keep us busy but it's fun.  I have stayed home with the kids since the oldest was born but do alot of volunteering at the school and with their sports so I keep busy.

Did you marry someone from FHS? Who and which class?:  I could barely date anyone at FHS
My favorite high school memory was:
Just remembered favorite HS memory - stocking the trunk of my brothers car with beer one night; finishing most of it, but leaving the rest and all the empty cans in the trunk; not emptying it before school the next day; then finding out that Mo Tharp busted my brother for having alcohol on campus the next day (think he got caught smoking in the parking lot and somehow they searched the car)
From Mark:
Went to U of Illinois - ran into a bunch of Fremd folks there; moved to Chicago - saw a Fremd person here and there; settled in Deerfield - where no one has heard of Fremd. Married college sweetheart, and have three wonderful kids - Alex (6), Sydney(4), and Jake(6 months)

Occupation:  Federal Government
Marital Status:  Divorced

My favorite high school memory was:
Every moment in Herr Schmidt's German class, going to some crazy Ukrainian restaurant downtown with Jim Bjork, Mark Friedman, Gabe Rifkin and Jean Park...and maybe Aylon and Karen?
From Kathi:
Hmm, guess I was MIA for the 20-year reunion.
I graduated from St Olaf and joined the Army. (Yes, I'm the one who practically failed PE because I'm so uncoordinated). Was in the Army for 7 years, lived in Germany for 7 years, traveled to Russia and Eastern Europe...and drank a lot of Italian wine.  Met my (ex) husband, came back to the States, and am still working for the Department of Defense as a civilian, although I'm sort of on loan to Congress at the moment.  I have an amazing 6-year-old named Braeden and live in Northern Virgina.  I miss Chicago, though!

Occupation:  High School English
Teacher
Marital Status:  Married
No. of Children:  3
My favorite high school memory was:
Orchesis, Germany with Herr, off-campus lunch, Chemistry with Mr. Dietrich and English with Mr. Brewner, whose sons strangely enough attended the high school that I teach at now. Oh and let's not forget swimming and those lovely PE issued swimsuits (read with sarcasm).
From Missy:
The quick version:  Met my husband while attending EIU and we got married in 1994.  Worked as a corporate trainer right out of college and started teaching high school in 1997.  Graduated from Roosevelt University (grad school) in 2006.  We have three great kids; Matthew (11), Susan (8) and Ryan (3). When I'm not teaching high school I am running my kids to soccer and dance practices.
Looking forward to October 4th.

Did you marry someone from FHS? Who and which class?:  No.
My favorite high school memory was:
Partying with Jeff Podjasek, Dave Kohanzo and Aaron Vargo at Jeff's house.
From John:
I went to Notre Dame for undergrad.  After college, I worked for Governor Jim Edgar in Springfield for two years.  After Springfield, I went to Princeton University and received a Masters in Public Policy and then to Northwestern for Law School.  After grad school, I served as Deputy Campaign Manager for US Senator Peter Fitzgerald's 1998 campaign.  After the election, I stayed on board Senator Fitzgerald's staff  and was in charge of his state offices (Chicago, Springfield, Dixon and Edwardsville).  I left Fitzgerald's staff mid-term to enter the private sector as a corporate transactional attorney.  I'm currently a partner at the law firm of Kirkland & Ellis with a focus on private equity buyouts and, more recently, bankruptcy financings.

Strangely enough, there are too many good memories from the last two years of school to mention here. Fortunately, I have effectively blocked out the first two years of school from my memory.
From Brian:
After Fremd, I graduated from ISU with a B.S. in Philosophy and Computer Science then went on to work for Motorola.  In '98 I missed our 10 year reunion because that was the week I moved to Seattle to pursue my M.A. in Systems Theory at Antioch University, Seattle.  The grad program was a great experience where I did two studies abroad; one in Egypt and another in Bali, Indonesia.  I spent a lot of time consulting to many different companies and living in different places.  From Seattle, I moved to Tokyo, Japan then back to Seattle, then to NYC for a short stint.  Now I'm back in Chicago where I reside in the South Loop where I'm in the early stages of building a software company.  It's been a real blast from the past to chat with old friends from Fremd who I haven't seen in 20 years.  I’m looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.
